Dr. Rudy L. Horne Scholarship Fund

 

Dr. Rudy L. Horne served on our Mathematics faculty from August 2010 until his untimely passing in December 2017.

 

He was a well-respected applied mathematician, committed to our mathematics majors and students, and he was widely acclaimed—bringing great honor to the College and department—for his role as the mathematics consultant for the hit feature film Hidden Figures.


To honor Rudy’s legacy here at Morehouse, we will next bestow this special scholarship award to a student with a demonstrated interest in applied mathematics at our Spring 2021 awards program.

 

Your donation today will provide financial assistance to a young Man of Morehouse studying mathematics and also pay tribute to the legacy of Dr. Rudy L. Horne.
