Experiential Learning & Interdisciplinary Studies

The Division of Experiential Learning and Interdisciplinary Studies offers a unique program that allows students to benefit from a curriculum using knowledge acquired in traditional and non-traditional ways to propel them to reach their personal, professional, and educational goals. Our Bachelor of Software Engineering degree is the first and only degree of its kind that is offered at an HBCU. The degree was developed to guide graduates into coding careers at the nation’s top tech companies.

One of the most meaningful ways you can invest in the division is with a gift to the Fund for Experiential Learning and Interdisciplinary Studies. These gifts provide resources that allow the division to take advantage of unanticipated academic and student-life opportunities, make life-changing experiences accessible and react to any unforeseen challenges the division and our students face.
